Mahakavi Devkota remembered
KATHMANDU: Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota, who is revered as the greatest poet in the Nepali literature, was remembered amidst a programme here on Saturday.
In the programme organised on the occasion of the 108th birth anniversary, and Tihar and Chhath festival, poets Maheshwor Khanal and Ratnanidhi Regmi Shukracharya recited their creations dedicated to the Mahakavi.
On the occasion, two books titled 'Geetasar' (the gist of the Geeta) by Khanal and 'Asal bidyarthi kasari banne' (how to become a good student) were released.
