KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons, including a 25-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl, in possession of 18 kilogram of marijuana from Pathalaiya of Bara district on Tuesday.

The suspects are said to be residents of Manahari, Makawanpur district.

Police discovered the contraband being ferried in three bags when they searched the suspects' belongings at a bus counter.

Police said they are looking into the case.
