KATHMANDU: A man on Sunday fell on a campus in Kathmandu and subsequently died, police said on Monday.

The man in his mid 30s, identified as Biki Shrestha, had sustained serious injuries after falling on the Balmiki Campus premises in Pradarshani Marga, KMC-31, police said.

He had breathed his last during treatment at the Bir Hospital.

Police said he had entered the campus by refusing to obey the gatekeeper's warning against entry into the Campus premises.

Meanwhile, police detained the gatekeeper and are interrogating him.
