KATHMANDU: A man, found unconscious near the Kanchan Basti gate in Chandragiri Municipality-8, on the western outskirts of Kathmandu, has died in hospital on Monday, police said.

Police identified the deceased as 47-year-old Suresh Rai of Tokha Municipality, in Kathmandu. Rai breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Om Samaj Hospital.

Meanwhile, the investigation is underway.
