KATHMANDU: Police on Sunday arrested a man in possession of 11 coils of copper wires hidden in a taxi he was driving from Chandragiri Municipality-5 of Kathmandu.

The arrestee has been identified as Ghanshyam Sarki (29) of Sindhuli district. He was currently residing at Sundhara.

Sarki was stopped during a routine security check at local Plotting Gate and the wires were found hidden in his taxi (Ba 1 Ja 5219), according to police.
