Man held with 200 gm gold from TIA

KATHMANDU: A man was arrested in possession of gold ornaments from the parking area of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), on Monday.

According to police, the airport security personnel arrested Chiranjivi KC (30) of Neta-4 in Gulmi district with four gold bangles weighing around 200 gram in total and three HP laptops.

KC had arrived Kathmandu via a Fly Dubai flight yesterday.

Similarly, police arrested Mohammad Isard Ali (24) of Malangwa Municipality in Sarlahi from the TIA parking area with 100 gm goldlike substance, on Monday.

Ali had arrived in the Capital from Qatar.
