KATHMANDU: A man has been arrested in possession of hoarded fuel and bootlegged liquor from Swayambhu of Kathmandu on Friday.

Bed Prasad Gurung (45), a permanent resident of Thulung-9 of Gorkha district, was arrested from his scrapyard in Bijeshwori, KMC-15.

Police in civvies, deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Swayambhu, also seized 100 litre home-made liquor as well as diesel, petrol and keronese.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
