Man on peace tour here
KATHMANDU: Director of the Gandhi World Peace Mission, Piyush Shelat, who is on an expedition and peace tour organised by the mission, has arrived in Nepal.
Shelat had set off on the tour from Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh in northeast India. The tour will conclude at Koteshwar in Gujarat.
Shelat said that he is going to visit seven neighbouring countries of India in two months to set a record and have his name written in the ‘Limca Book of Records-2010’.
He said that he was spreading Mahatma Gandhi’s message of universal peace, brotherhood, unity and non-violence.
After completing the tour, Shelat’s team will go to the United States of America to help the families of New York’s firefighters who lost their lives during the 9/11 terror attacks on the World Trade Centre there.
