Twenty four-year-old Balram Thapa is seeking help from generous hearts after both valves of his heart have stopped functioning.

Thapa, who originally hails from Gauribas village development committee-6 of Mahottari, is living at Baluwatar at present. According to his brother Badri Thapa, his heart swelled after both valves malfunctioned. Thapa is in need of Rs 250,000 by February 9, 2005.

He has managed to scrape and scrounge around Rs 170,000 through various sources including his office Agni Enterprises where he was working as a driver.

“We have besought the Ganga National Heart Centre for the free valves, the issue is still undecided,” said Badri Thapa.
