Kathmandu, January 30:

President of the Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies, LP Sanwa, escaped bid on life this morning, police said. Two unidentified persons on a motorcycle opened fire at Sanwa near Sankha Park while he was on his way to his office Global Alliance at Sanmakhusi from his residence at Mandikhatar.

The bullet hit his car’s left side. “They fired only one bullet,” Sanwa told the police. The incident occurred at around 10:15 am. The police recovered a country-made pistol, a used catridge and six virgin catridges from the spot.

“We know the registration number of the motorcycle and are very close to identify the assailants,” said Shushil Bhandari, DSP at the Metropolitan Police Circle in Maharajgunj.
