KATHMANDU: UCPN-Maoist this morning started to picket the Singha Durbar on the part of their second phase of agitation at Singha Durbar.

Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been been leading from Bhadrakali with senior vice chairman Mohon Baidhya 'Kiran' and general secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal', vice chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai from Maitighar-Mandala and and Narayankaji Shrestha from Hanumanthan, Anamnagar.

Krishna Bahadur Mahara from the Kathmandu District Administration Office and Amik Sherchan from Department of Roads at Babarmahal Netra Bikram Chanda from Anamnagar, Ghattekulo, Giriraj Mani Pokharel and Hisila Yami from Kalikasthan, Dilli Bazaar. The Ministers and the government employees have already reached their offices in the Singha Durbar. The adequate numbers of security personnel have been deployed in the prohibited areas.
