Maoists to form panel on cadres
Kathmandu, February 17:
The central secretariat meeting of the Unified CPN-Maoist today decided to form two taskforces to prepare a policy on managing financial resources for its full-time cadres.
The meeting also discussed on arrangement of shelter, food and education for full-time and active party workers. “The next meeting will form the taskforces on Wednesday,” said central secretariat member Barshaman Pun after the meeting held this morning at Baluwatar, residence of the Prime Minister. The meeting also decided to integrate the youth organisations and ‘intellectual organisations’ of then CPN-Maoist and CPN-Unity Centre Masal. “It was also decided to make efforts to forge consensus among the political parties, including the main opposition Nepali Congress, for writing the new constitution on time,” said Pun.
