Massage dens raided
Kathmandu, June 27 :
A police team from the Sorakhutte Ward Police Office yesterday evening raided about two dozen massage parlours and detained over 50 persons.
According to the police, the raids were made after frequent complaints that unsocial activities were taking place in the massage parlours. “Most of them were caught when they were involved in obscene activities,” the police said.
Forty-five persons were set free on the condition that they will not go to massage parlours from now onwards. “Massage parlours owners were set free after they promised that they would not indulge in obscene activities. However, four have been still kept in custody as they didn’t admit to their crime,” official said.
