Matrika’s ultimatum

Kathmandu, April 2:

Forest Minister Matrika Yadav has warned that he would not even keep a personal security officer deputed by the government to him if army personnel do not vacate his residence at the minister’s quarters at Pulchowk by tomorrow.

“I raised the issue of my security at the cabinet. If the army personnel who have seized my residence don’t vacate it by tomorrow then I would remove the PSO as well. The PLA is enough for my security,” the minister representing CPN Maoist in the government said. He added that Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula has assured him that the government would think over an alternative arrangement for him by tomorrow.
