KATHMANDU:

Minister for Information and Communications Krishna Bahadur Mahara said on Monday that the government has been working to transform the state-run media into public media.

Speaking at a function organised to mark the 47th anniversary of Rastriya Samachar Samittee, Mahara said changes in policy will be made incorporating the suggestions made by the High-level Media Commission.

Mahara said, “The real owner of the media should be the public.”
