MJF on consensus
KATHMANDU: Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum, Chairman Upendra Yadav said on Wednesday that MJF will not claim the leadership for the next government.
Talking to media persons at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Yadav said that MJF will make efforts to build consensus among the parties to form the next government.
In his brief conversation with journalists, he stressed for consensus and cooperation among all political parties while forming the new government. He also assured that his party will support whichever party is able to gather majority to form the government.
The outgoing Foreign Minister cut short his visit to Europe and America and returned to Kathmandu Wednesday morning after the Prime Minister's resignation from his post on Monday.
MJF has called its parliamentary party meeting after Yadav’s arrival. The party is also scheduled to hold talks with other Terai based parties – Terai Madhes Loktantrik Party and Sadbhawana Party to bring out a common voice on Terai issues.
