The effects of the monsoon winds are still ongoing in the country. The monsoon's low-pressure belt has shifted slightly north of its average position, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
The Division reported that parts of Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces have experienced light to moderate rainfall, while one or two locations in the remaining provinces are also seeing light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
There will be general weather changes across the country in the afternoon. However, heavy rainfall is expected in some areas of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, as well as in one or two locations in other provinces.
