More student protests soon

Kathmandu, February 16:

Calling on the campus administration to pressurise the government to free Kundan Raj Kafle, chairman, FSU, Pashupati Multiple Campus chapter, by 2 pm today, students of Pashupati Campus today handed out a 24-hour ultimatum to the campus administration and padlocked the chief’s office.

Announcing protests against the arrest of Kafle, the students demanded that Kafle be freed at the earliest, keeping in mind the FSU polls slated for February 28.

The students will padlock the account section and administration on Friday, stage an educational strike in educational institutes of Chabahil on Sunday and padlock the campus and bar the commissioner for the polls from entering campus premises on Monday.
