KATHMANDU: A pedestrian died after being hit by a motorcycle in Tripureshwor of KMC-11 on Thursday.

Police informed that the incident occurred when the motorcycle (Ba 48 Pa 4947) hit Khadga Bahadur Bhujel (70) while walking.

Bhujel was a permanent resident of Birtadeurali-2 of Kavre district, currently living in Tripureshwor.

Police further said Bhujel breathed his last while receiving treatment at the Blue Cross Hospital.

The impounded motorcycle and the rider are under police custody for further investigation.
