Speaker Subash Nembang on Thursday administered the oath of office and secrecy to three Nepali Congress lawmakers, including Rishikesh Tiwari from Parbat, Nagendra Jha from Sarlahi and Laxman Raya Yadav from Saptari. The NC had on Tuesday recommended them for the posts of NC MPs which had fallen vacant after Mahanta Thakur of Sarlahi and Jaya Prakash Gupta of Saptari resigned from the parliament and Dilli Ram Sharma of Parbat passed away. — HNS
