Kathmandu:

Indian ambassador to Nepal, Shiv Shankar Mukherjee on Tuesday met Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and discussed the progress of ongoing peace process and unification of the Nepali Congress and Nepali Congress-Democratic. They met at the Prime Minister’s official residence at Baluwatar. Sources said ambassador, Shiv Shankar Mukherjee reiterated Indian government willingness to support the government for the peace process and economic development of Nepal. The issue of Maoists’ arms management also figured in the hour-long meeting.
