Lalitpur, September 9 :

The Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC) and the International Corn Foundation (ICF) based in Seoul, South Korea signed a memorandum of understanding for the research on corn production technology and poverty alleviation in Nepal yesterday.

According to the MoU, the ICF would provide consultant and expert services for promoting specifically hybrid corn production technology research. The NARC, on the other hand, would assure the movement of genetic materials in and out of Nepal to promote the collaborative programmes.
