KATHMANDU, MARCH 03

Chef Santosh Shah, runner-up at the MasterChef UK, The Professionals 2020, was felicitated by Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) amid much fun-fare in Kathmandu, on Wednesday.

Along with Chef Shah, other chefs including NATHM's graduates making mark in the hospitality and other sectors were also honoured today.

Shah was warmly welcomed by the college students and other staff prior to taking a tour of various departments in the college premises. "I am very thrilled with the love that I am getting after landing in Nepal. It has exceeded my expectations and provided me extra motivation to work even harder," He said.

"The mantra of success is to have perseverance, patience, gratitude and love towards one's own profession," Shah shared, who will be returning to UK in a few weeks' time.

Any student having patience in housekeeping department will always succeed in the hospitality section, Shah said so while inspecting the suite rooms of the college.

NATHM which is preparing itself to attract students from the SAARC Region, BIMSTEC nations and China, bagged appreciation from Shah that its infrastructures are world-class and was impressed with the overall management.
