NSP-N unveils poll manifesto

The Naya Shakti Party-Nepal has unveiled the party’s election manifesto, saying the party aims to upgrade the country to a developing nation by ending country’s poverty within five years.

Achieving sustainable development goals in 15 years and ending unemployment are other commitments the party has made in the manifesto.

Unveiling the manifesto, party Coordinator Baburam Bhattarai said the manifesto was drafted as per the country’s need.

Stating that only double-digit economic growth can ensure progress in political, economic and cultural sectors, the party has stressed on increased investment in agriculture, tourism, energy and medicinal herbs for the development of the country.

The party has also forwarded the plan to link the country’s major places through cable car.

Provincial capitals would be developed as per Asian standards with special identity, the manifesto claims. The party manifesto also says that a university of international-level and 500-bed hospital would be established in each province.
