KATHMANDU: The Nepal Bar Association on Thursday issued a press statement condemning the arson attack on Mithila law firm jointly run by Advocate Nagendra Yadav and Birendra Prasad Sah at Maitighar in the capital.

The attack caused damage inside the firm, said the statement. According to the statement, some unidentified individuals poured petrol on the doormat of the law firm before setting it on fire in the evening on Tuesday.

NBA demanded that the government carry out an investigation into the incident and punish the culprits.

It has also urged the government to make sure that such incidents are not repeated.
