LALITPUR: The Central Committee (CC) meeting of Nepali Congress began to finalise the new constitution of the party at the party office in Sanepa, Lalitpur on Tuesday.

According to CC member Binaya Dhoj Chand, the meeting will focus on the state restructuring committee's proposal prepared by Gopal Man Shrestha, the NC vice chairman. He added that the meeting will discuss the participation of the government, role of the parliamentary party leader and the party president to send a member in the government and the row over party president Girija Prasad Koirala's talks with UCPN-Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Singapore including others contemporary issues.

It is believed that it will further discuss the agenda of its upcoming general convention which is slated for March 10-14, 2010 in Kathmandu.
