NC chief whip Ananda Prasad Dhungana on Saturday said the voting over Maoist proposals in the House likely to be held on Friday was stalled on the request of leftists, and not of PM Koirala. Speaking at a function, he said the NC had taken a decision to go for republic, adding that republic would be set up under the NC leadership.
