KATHMANDU: The parliamentary party meeting of the Nepali Congress on Thursday elected Prakash Man Singh as the deputy parliamentary party leader unanimously.

NC elected Ram Chandra Poudel as the parliamentary party leader last Saturday. Poudel defeated former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba by 13 votes.

Singh is the son of veteran NC leader late Ganesh Man Singh.
