Kathmandu, March 8:

The Nepali Congress will complete party statute draft within mid-April.

Krishna Prasad Sitaula, coordinator of the Party Statute Drafting Committee of the NC, informed today that the committee would finalise the draft within mid-April.

The committee, which was formed on October 3 as per the decision of the Nepali Congress central committee meeting that concluded on September 6, was entrusted the responsibility of drafting the statute within two months of its formation.

"We are receiving suggestions from the district level working committees of the party, its sister organisations and other scholars and will submit the draft within mid-April," said Sitaula over telephone.
