NC to adopt multi-post system: KC

Kathmandu, March 7:

Nepali Congress spokesperson and joint general secretary Arjun Narsingh KC today informed that the Nepali Congress will adopt a multi-post system after the upcoming general convention of the party. NC’s general convention is scheduled to be held within August.

Inaugurating the general convention of Nepal Public Service Employees’ Union affiliated with the Nepali Congress, KC accused Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal of giving the nod to fresh recruitment in the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

He claimed that the People’s Liberation Army initiated recruitment either to create pressure against other parties or to capture power.

Around 400 representatives from three trade unions affiliated with the Nepali Congress are taking part in the general convention.

The two-day convention will elect a new leadership tomorrow, merging the three unions into one.
