It has been learnt that today's meeting concluded after passing a condolence motion on the demise of NCP's central member Kaman Singh Lama.

According to Prime Minister's press advisor Surya Thapa, the meeting which started at the PM's official residence in Baluwatar, this afternoon, saw the presence of both party co-chairs -- PM KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Prior to this, the party’s standing committee had met on December 6 at the party’s central office in Dhumbarahi. The recent papers drafted by party co-chairs Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli were presented and discussed at the meeting.

Secretariat of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), after multiple meetings, failed to take a call on the 19-page proposal registered by Dahal and Oli’s 38-page rebuttal, therefore, deciding to send the proposals to the party’s standing committee for discussion and resolution of intra-party feud.
