NC's Tiwari wins as ward chief of KMC-26

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress candidate Khem Raj Tiwari has been elected as ward chief of KMC-26 as RSS reported.

He secured 2,097 votes to his closet UML's Rabindra Rimal's 1873 votes.

Likewise, Tirtharatri Dangol and Krishna Rajan have been elected from open category. Shanta Gautam was elected from open category.

According to election officer Prem Poudel, Nirmala Bogati has been elected as Dalit member.

All the four members were affiliated to CPN-UML.
