KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is preparing to slash load shedding by two hours a day effective from Thursday.

The NEA said that the load shedding will be decreased to 11 hours a day from the existing 13 hours.

The NEA has decided to reduce the load shedding hours after the government imported 80 megawatts of electricity from India.
