Nembang hopes House will resume today
Kathmandu, May 23:
Speaker Subas Nembang today expressed hope that the disrupted House proceedings will resume from tomorrow.
The House remains disrupted since the last one month. Nembang had left for New York on May 16 to attend a UN conference on issues of indigenous people.
Upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Nembang said, “I hope that the issues disrupting the House sessions will be resolved, leading to the resumption of House sessions from tomorrow.” Stating that he apprised the international community on the political situation in Nepal, Nembang said, “The international community and Nepalis living in the US are concerned about the situation here.”
