Nembang, Sitaula discuss House disruptions
Kathmandu, April 21:
Speaker of the Parliament Subas Nembang today met Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula and expressed concern about the frequent disruptions in parliamentary sessions by lawmakers from the CPN (Maoist) and MPs representing the Madhesi community.
Speaker Nembang met Sitaula at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, where the latter is being treated for some ear condition.
Yesterday, the Speaker met PM Girija Prasad Koirala to express his concern about disruptions in parliamentary sessions. Koirala and Sitaula are learnt to have assured Nembang that the Parliament will not be disrupted from Sunday.
“We discussed ways to conduct the parliamentary sessions smoothly,” Nembang told the media while emerging from the hospital.
