Nepal Army gifts 10 horses to Nepal Police
KATHMANDU: Nepal Army on Monday gifted 10 horses from its cavalry to Nepal Police for the latter's mounted police unit.
Nepal Army's Chief of the Army Staff General Rajendra Chhetri handed over the horses to Nepal Police's Inspector General Upendra Kant Aryal at the Tribhuvan Army Club, Jangi Adda in the Capital today.
The horses, five stallions and equal number of mares, would be used in traffic management in Kathmandu Valley.
