Bhaktapur, October 18:

Nepal Bhasa Literature Ta Munjaya (NBLTM) is organising Nepal Bhasa Literature Ta Munjaya conference from 23 to 24 October in Bhaktapur.

Chandra Bahadur Kulak, president of main committee of NBLMT, today told this daily that the conference is being organised for the development of Nepal Bhasa, mother tongue of Newar community.

He said that they had to take initiatives for development of Nepal Bhasa as other academies in the country did not pay much attention to the language.

“The conference is also being organised to promote literature on Nepal Bhasa and to encourage people to use the language,” he said.

The conference has been successful to raise awareness on political matters as

well because many political personalities also attend, he said.
