NFP’s 2nd National Convention today

The Nepal Family Party (NFP) is preparing to organise its second national convention from tomorrow with the theme ‘Good family: Prosperous Nepal Progressive democracy: Our motto’ at the Nepal Academy Hall in Kamaladi.

According to a press statement issued here today, around 1,200 representatives chosen from the district, regional, and provincial conventions will participate in the two-day convention.

Representatives from 15 different countries including India will also attend the gala.  “We have formed 17 committees to organise the convention in a grand and systematic manner,” Santosh Kumar Paudel, spokesperson of the party said in the statement.

“The inauguration ceremony is scheduled at 11:30am tomorrow, where the representatives will address the convention. On the second day, the party will announce its policies and programmes,” he added. In the 2008 CA election, Nepal Family Party won one seat through Proportional Representation vote.
