Nepali Congress calls CWC meeting for Tuesday
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called party's Central Working Committee meeting for Tuesday.
The meeting shall take place at 8 am at the Lalitpur-based Party's Central Office, informed NC Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel.
The meeting would discuss contemporary political issues including a no-confidence motion filed against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and new government formation.
Of late, the party has been working with the CPN Maoist Centre to topple the incumbent CPN-UML-led government through the no-confidence vote and form the new one with their leadership.
It has also struck a seven-point deal with the Maoist party, according to which, the two parties will continue the coalition till the next parliamentary elections to be held after one and half years.
The Parliament is scheduled to begin discussion on the no-confidence motion on Thursday.
