KATHMANDU: Main opposition Nepali Congress' Central Working Committee meeting is scheduled to be held this afternoon.

The CWC meeting will begin at 1:00 pm today at the party’s central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur.

The NC during the last CWC meet on December 24, had postponed the meeting with the decision to stage a nationwide protest against the dissolution of HoR.

NC had called for the CWC meet on December 22 to discuss the recent political sitation of the country following dissolution of the House of Representatives.

The house, on recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, was dissolved by the president on December 20 along with the announcement of mid-term elections in March/April.
