Nepali Congress endorses party poll rule

KATHMANDU: The Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress on Sunday endorsed the election guideline for the party's coming 13th national general convention.

A CWC meeting held at the party central office in Sanepa of Lalitpur endorsed the guideline, allowing the party to begin election procedures for its new leadership.

The party has scheduled the party gala for March 3-6 in Kathmandu. It would elect a new CWC including the President for next five years.

According to party's chief secretary Rishikesh Tiwari, party's Vice-President Ram Chandra Paudel and CWC member Mahesh Acharya had briefed the meeting about latest political developments.
