KATHMANDU, MAY 3
Spokesperson for the main opposition party Nepali Congress, Bishwa Prakash Sharma, has tested positive for Covid-19.
Sharma had submitted his swab for PCR test at Star Hospital on Sunday evening, after suffering from fever and body ache.
His report came positive for the contagion this morning.
Sharma announced the news through his social media handle and further said that he is currently staying in home isolation and taking medicines as advised by Dr Anup Bastola of Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku.
"Though symptoms are persistent, I am in high spirits," Sharma posted on his Twitter timeline.
He also urged all to be cautious.
