KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Friday appointed Dr. Durga Bahadur Subedi as non residential ambassador to Malta recommended by the Cabinet.

According to a press statement issued by the President's Office's today, the head-of-the-state appointed Nepali ambassador to United Kingdom Dr. Durga Bahadur Subedi as non-residential ambassador to the European nation.

President Bhandari made the appointment as per the Article 282.1 of the Constitution of Nepal, it said in the statement today.
