Nepali envoys appointed as non-residential ambassadors to Maldives and Ethiopia
KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday appointed two Nepali ambassadors as an non-residential ambassadors to different countries recommended by the Parliament on various dates.
According to a press statement issued by the President Office's today, the head-of-the-state appointed Nepali ambassador to Egypt Jhabindra Prasad Aryal as an non-residential ambassador to Federal Republic of Ethiopia in Africa.
Similarly, Nepali ambassador to Sri Lanka Bisambhar Pyakurel has been given the added responsibility to look after Maldives as an non-residential envoy.
President made the appointment as per the Article 282.1 of the Constitution of Nepal, it said a statement.
