Nepali first aid instructors awarded
Kathmandu, November 6:
Prabin Bikram Rana and Rijendra Kumar Shrestha, the trainers of the first aid training methods, have been awarded gold medal, ‘la medaille de la Valeur Civique Or’ (Gold Medal of Civic Value) by the French Federation of Rescue and First Aid. The medal will be conferred by Michel Jolivet, the French Ambassador to Nepal, on November 9. ‘The Alliance Francaise of Kathmandu’ has been providing the First Aid Training to Nepalis since 1999 with the support of French Federation of Rescue and First Aid, said a press release issued here today by Alliance Francaise.
The Alliance Francaise of Kathmandu has already trained more than 1,000 persons in first aid.
