KATHMANDU: The 24th general assembly of Nepal Philatelic Society concluded in the capital on Saturday.

The assembly elected its new working committee under the chairmanship of Sagar Man Shrestha. Meanwhile, Dr Ramesh Kumar Shrestha was elected the vice-president, Shanker Shrestha general secretary, Rakesh Lal Baiddhya treasurer and Shyam Nhuchhe Pradhan, Sandip Sagar Nepal, Bidur Upadhyay, Ujjwol Kapur Shrestha and Prativa Ranjit as executive members. Director general of Department of Information and former director general of Department of Postal Services were also feted during the event.
