The Tribhuvan University (TU) will introduce some new programmes, including Masters in Business Administration, Conflict Management, and Biote-chnique, from the next academic session, the TU vice-chancellor, Professor Dr Govinda Prasad Sharma, said today. The announcement came on the occasion of the TU’s 46th Annual Day. The TU is also planning to enable affiliate campuses to run master-level classes in subjects like Sociology and Management by providing manpower, he said. Stating that question pattern will also be changed to bring down a staggering failure rate, Dr Sharma said 20 per cent marks will be allotted for internal evaluation. Altogether 21975 students will be conferred the Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees at the convocation, which is scheduled for November.
