The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has urged all three tiers of government to create an environment friendly to people living with disabilities (PWD).
The NHRC has drawn the attention of federal, provincial, and local governments, emphasizing that it is unjust for PWD to face problems and hassles in modern times.
In a press release issued on the occasion of the International Day of Disabled Persons, NHRC Spokesperson Tikaram Pokhrel expressed the belief that all government bodies and concerned stakeholders would fully implement the NHRC's recommendations on the rights of PWD.
