KATHMANDU: Police said nine persons were arrested in possession of 1,000 litres of illegal home-brewed alcohol from Sankhu Bus Park of Sankarapur Municipality-10 on Monday.

A police team deployed from the Sankhu-based Metropolitan Police Sector had arrested them during a regular security check in the area.

Police said they are investigating into the case.
