Kathmandu, November 20:

The tenth meeting of the municipal council of the Lalitpur Sub-metropolitan City today approved the proposed budget amounting to Rs 241,379,400.

According to Bikram Shakya, LSMC media coordinator, the proposed budget presented by the chief executive officer and head of the LSMC Prem Raj Joshi has allocated Rs 58,047,800 for administrative expenditure and Rs 138,393,779 for development projects.

Shakya also said the representatives of the seven parties had commented that the budget was positive and they had urged the employees to work honestly for its successful implementation. Shakya also said they had invited representatives from CPN-Maoist but they did not turn up.

During the same function the best employees and those who had served in the LSMC for 25 years and more were felicitated.
